Como usar o UIPanGestureRecognizer para mover o object? iPhone / iPad

Existem vários exemplos da class UIPanGestureRecognizer . Por exemplo, eu li isso e ainda não consigo usá-lo …

No arquivo de ponta que estou trabalhando, tenho um UIView (retângulo branco na imagem) que desejo arrastar com essa class:

e no meu arquivo .m eu coloquei:

 - (void)setTranslation:(CGPoint)translation inView:(UIView *)view { NSLog(@"Test to see if this method gets executed"); } 

e esse método não é executado quando eu arrasto o mouse pelo UIView . Eu também tentei colocar:

 - (void)pan:(UIPanGestureRecognizer *)gesture { NSLog(@"testing"); } 

E esse método também não é executado. Talvez eu esteja errado, mas eu acho que esses methods devem funcionar como o - (void) touchesMoved:(NSSet *)touches withEvent:(UIEvent *)event método onde eu só tenho que colocar esse método e ele será chamado sempre que houver toques.

O que estou fazendo de errado? Talvez eu tenha que desenhar uma conexão com esse método? Se sim, como posso fazer isso?

Eu encontrei o tutorial Trabalhando com UIGestureRecognizers , e acho que é isso que estou procurando. Isso me ajudou a criar a seguinte solução:
